Pre-engineered Buildings (PEB) we offer
The main parts of a Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) are generally divided into Primary
Members, Secondary Members and Accessories.
Primary Members (Main Structural Frame). These carry the main load of the building.
Columns -Vertical members that transfer load to the foundation.
Rafters/Beams – Sloped or horizontal. Flashing and Trims members are supporting the roof.
Rigid Frame – A combination of column and rafter forming the main structural
frame.
End Wall Columns – Columns located at the building ends.
Secondary Members - These support the roof and wall sheets, and transfer loads to primary members.
Purlins – Horizontal members on the roof. Louvers supporting roof sheets.
Girts – Horizontal members on the walls supporting wall cladding.
Eave Struts – Located at the intersection of the roof and wall.
Bracing System – Rods or angles used for structural stability (roof bracing, wall
bracing).
Cladding System - These cover the building.
